Looney Tunes is an animated media franchise produced by Warner Bros. The franchise was created in 1930, during the golden age of American animation, and ran along with its sister series Merrie Melodies.

Since its inception, Looney Tunes has become a worldwide franchise, spawning several television series, feature films, comic books, music albums, video games, theme park attractions, and much more.

Since Six Flags Great America was acquired by Six Flags in 1984, Looney Tunes has had a major presence at Six Flags theme parks. So much so, that the success of their inclusion was a major contributing factor to the purchase of Six Flags by Time Warner (now WarnerMedia) in 1990. Looney Tunes characters appear in rides, shows, restaurants, whole themed sections, and much more.
