Highland Fling was an Enterprise ride at Six Flags St. Louis, located in Britannia. It operated from 1977 to July 2017. The ride was closed just before its 40th anniversary, and was removed after the 2017 season. It was replaced by Supergirl: Sky Flyer in 2019, a similar model ride.

History[]

In 2015, Highland Fling received new gondolas from Wagon Wheel at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, which closed in 2011. It was the last remaining spare set in the system.[1]

  1. SFZIP on Theme Park Review: "The Highland Fling cars are not new, they are actually the Wagon Wheel cars from SFFT (and before that SFOT). They are also the last remaining set in the Six Flags system, unless some park has some in their boneyard."
