Tony Hawk (born May 12, 1968) is an American professional skateboarder, actor, and owner of the skateboard company Birdhouse Skateboards.
His name and likeness was used on Tony Hawk's Big Spin, a spinning coaster at Six Flags Fiesta Texas, Six Flags St. Louis, Six Flags Over Texas, and Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, and a water slide named Tony Hawk's Halfpipe at Six Flags America. All the attractions were closed and re-themed after Tony Hawk's licensing agreement with Six Flags was terminated after just four years at the end of 2010. The reason for doing so was allegedly due to an attempt to force Six Flags to pay twice as much to retain the licenses on each of the Tony Hawk attractions.
