Batman: The Ride is a 4D Free Fly roller coaster in Rockville at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. The ride was manufactured by S&S and opened on May 23, 2015. A clone of the ride will open at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom in 2019.
History
Teases for Batman: The Ride started in mid-summer 2014, with "for sale" signs showing up on shops in Rockville, and a balloon at Motorama Turnpike.
In August, Six Flags Fiesta Texas announced the closure of Motorama Turnpike and Rockin' at Rockville High in efforts to retheme Rockville to a more urban setting.
Batman: The Ride was officially announced on August 28 along with the rest of Six Flags' 2015 attraction announcements.
Construction
Track for Batman: The Ride started to be put down in February 2015, with the rest of the site ready to be completed within the next three months afterwards in time for the ride's opening.
Soft opening
On May 13, 2015, Batman: The Ride soft opened to the public.
