- June 12 – A 14-year-old girl boarding Poltergeist at Six Flags Fiesta Texas is paralyzed after falling into a gap between the roller coaster's cars, landing on a concrete floor about 10 feet below the station platform. Family members stated that she may have fainted due to the heat of the day.

- June 21 – A 13-year-old girl from Louisville, Kentucky has both of her feet cut off above the ankle by a snapped cable on Superman: Tower of Power at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, caused by an unidentified ride malfunction.
- June 28 – Batman & Robin: The Chiller closes at Six Flags Great Adventure.

- July 13 – The family of the victim in the Superman: Tower of Power incident files a lawsuit for unspecified damages against Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, claiming that the park did not properly maintain the ride.

- Fright Fest 2007 begins at Six Flags Great Adventure.

- October 16 – On Two-Face: The Flip Side at Six Flags America, the train is stuck on the lift because of a failed mechanism, and then once the train returned to the station, the hydraulic line is severed, causing hydraulic fluid to spray on several riders. Twelve people needed medical attention, while two were taken to the hospital to be treated. The riders only suffered minor injuries.

- November 1 – Six Flags Magic Mountain announces a redesign of X.
- November 23 – Holiday in the Park debuts at Six Flags Discovery Kingdom.
- November 29 – A judge in the Jefferson Circuit Court rules that Superman: Tower of Power at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom is a violation of safety following the incident in June, and that Six Flags must dismantle the ride beginning February 1, 2008.
